Life unfolds in the most magical ways. While we think we have control of over what we do, our level of it is minuscule compared  to the vast wisdom of the Universe.

Thankfully, the Universe, God, Yawah, or whatever you call that force that guides us all through life, has a bigger plan for us. And when things don’t go the way you insist they should, be grateful. Something better is waiting for you out there.

I know this to be true. Fortune, sometimes masked in tragedy, is always waiting for you. What might look like the worst thing imaginable, Your Biggest Fear, Your Worst Nightmare, Your Greatest Challenge, could also be the Biggest Gift of Your Life.

Every moment of our lives, we are in process. We proceed to the next experience, to the next step in our day, to the next piece of the puzzle that makes up our existence. Trust that process. It is unique to your experience.

And while we are in process, we must remember also to be in the very moment because even though we are unfolding and in movement, the present moment is the only one we ever have. That’s a part of the process too.

It’s confusing. I know.

Instead of looking to the next thing, look at what you have. Take a moment to reflect on all the goodness in your life. We tend to focus on what we don’t have or what’s “wrong”. But if you look deeper, you will see there is so much more right in your life than you realize.

How do I know this? Because you are in it.

I once asked my friend Tanja if I will have love, light and joy in my life. She looked me square in the eye and said, “I know you will. Because you are in it.”

If you are looking for the light and can’t find it, be the light.

If you are looking for love in your life, be that love.

If you are looking for joy, you guessed it! Be that joy.

That is my commitment. That is my promise. That is my process.
