So here I am, minding my own business as I Google about looking for statistics about love for this Valentine’s Day post. And wham! I discover research from the renowned London School of Economics that states Thursday is the best day of the week for some time between the sheets. Okay, so it’s according to The Sun newspaper and try as I might, I couldn’t find the primary source.

But it got me to thinking.

Why Thursdays? And what do you do if Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday?

They claim your sexual synchronicity is highest on Thursdays because of a couple’s matching hormone levels. But do my hormones really know it’s Thursday? I wonder.

Studies like these show we have biorhythms just like any other living creature; but I wouldn’t get too caught up in having to conform to what the mainstream tells you is ‘normal’. We all have our own pace of life, which changes over time.
