There is nothing sweeter than the sound of yes.

Yesssssss.

It’s smooth.

It’s sultry.

It’s simply delicious.

Some days we are stuck in ‘no’ like the snow.

Other days we glide through the sky with a positive spirit.

Days of yes are wonderful, like planted seeds that have finally turned to full bloom.

At best when dark days are upon us, we can still say ‘yes’ to ourselves. And when the light slides through the slits in our curtains, we can toss them aside to embrace the rays once again.

We can get the world to ‘yes’ with a lot of patience and kindness. It isn’t always easy when everything around us barks ‘no way,’ ‘nada’, ‘niente’, ‘non’! Behind every ‘no’ is a ‘yes’ to something else.

It may not always be our time of yes, but it sure does feel good when it comes.

Today is a day of yes.
